To design and deliver a governance training program for supervisory boards of credit unions. Conducted research on the credit union sytem; this led to the design and development of a training program to strengthen the effectiveness of supervisory boards, and the credit committees of credit unions, as a means of strengthening governance arrangements. Delivered training to supervisory boards and training-of-trainers. The project was seen as a means of achieving authority to take the deposits from members, thereby assuring longer-term sustainability.
